Fundraiser Event, Sat. March 12

Please set aside Saturday March 12th on your calendar for our big event fundraiser.  We are scheduled to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity from 9 am to 4:30 pm.  We will have a letter available February 1st for the boys to send out to family members and friends requesting sponsorship (donations) for this event.  This will be our one and only major fundraiser so all boys will be required to participate.

Lacrosse Registration

BOYS LACROSSE PLAYERS AND FAMILIES, 

Please contact your athletes and let them know that NOW is the time to register for spring sports! The registration paperwork is online under athletics on the PHS website, (see link below). Students need to download the forms, fill them out and bring them to the athletic office along with their fee.  Getting this done now will ensure that they're ready to practice on February 28.

Spring Break News

The Mustangs Varsity and JV Lacrosse teams will be traveling down to Arizona during our annual Spring Trip from Sunday, March 20 through Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Our Spring Trips have become an annual event which allows the program to develop in many important ways. The team bonding, the focused attention on lacrosse, the competition and playing of another state's top programs enhances, enriches, and elevates our program, so when we return to Colorado we are ready to compete for a Douglas County Conference title and a chance to battle for a State Championship.

This year, we are playing two top teams from the Phoenix (Desert Vista HS) and Tucson (Salpointe Catholic) areas respectively.  This is open to the first 45 players (mandatory for varsity, strongly encouraged for JV players who aspire to contribute at the varsity level someday). It does not matter what year you are, if you are interested, please contact Mrs. Madeline Shefferly (Kyle Shefferly '11 - Captain) to sign up. If you're having trouble with the link, her email can be found on the Booster Club page.

The Spring Break committee will be sending out information this week.

Signups open thru 2/16

Spring Signups for Boys Lacrosse Season are open until February 15.

Please signup at the Athletic Office with Athletic Secretary Sandra Mira.

Parents must write a check for $150 and fill out the paperwork.

After several months of redevelopment and redesign, the Ponderosa Mustangs LAX website is back in action and ready for the Spring 2011 season!

This Announcements section will be updated by the coaches on a regular basis, providing you with important information regarding practices, games and any other pertinent topics in a simple and centralized location. Subscribe to email updates using the simple form below, and any new announcements that have been posted will be waiting for you in your inbox when you wake up in the morning.

We are also looking into connecting this announcement section with twitter.com so that students and parents can receive up-to-the-minute updates via cell phone or email. Players should expect to hear more about this from the coaches soon.

Because the site has undergone major renovations, some pages are still in progress and will continue to grow and develop over the next few weeks. Photos, media, game stats and other information will be added as they become available.
